Who Our Neurodiverse Programmes Are For
Our neurodiverse programmes are designed for children, teens, and adults who experience the world in different ways.
We welcome autistic and ADHD individuals, those with learning differences, sensory processing differences, anxiety, communication challenges, and people who simply feel out of place in busy or traditional environments.
Sessions can be attended individually or with a support person, family member, or small group, depending on what feels safest and most supportive.
How Sessions Work
Sessions at Charis Ponies are calm, structured, and flexible enough to respond to each person on the day.
Most sessions include:
- A gentle arrival and settling-in time
- Meeting and greeting the ponies at a comfortable pace
- Simple, purposeful activities such as grooming, leading, observing, or helping with everyday pony care
- Space for quiet moments, sensory breaks, and observation
There is no riding. All interaction is on the ground, with a focus on safety, consent, and emotional regulation for both people and ponies.

Every programme is purpose-based and goal-oriented, with activities designed to support personal growth in meaningful and encouraging ways.

Session Structure & Pricing
Neurodiverse sessions are usually 60–90 minutes, depending on age, attention, and support needs. Sessions can be one-to-one, with a support person or family member, or small group sessions by arrangement.
